Since the mid-1980's, the Haight Ashbury Free
Clinics has provided comprehensive primary medical care
and related services every year to hundreds of uninsured and
low-income San Franciscans living with HIV.
Our
Integrated Care Center at 1735 Mission Street also offers
confidential rapid HIV antibody testing and is available to anyone.
It is a simple and painless oral swab. Results of the test will be
given in only twenty minutes. The tests are administered by
certified HIV test counselors, who will also work with you
one-on-one to discuss ways to reduce your risk and also answer any
questions you may have about HIV.
Testing Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM

Tests are administered on a drop-in basis, no appointments are
necessary.
The Clinic's HIV Program offers
a holistic approach to care that addresses many of our clients'
physical and psycho-social needs on-site. Each client is matched
with a staff medical practitioner and a case manager to develop
an individualized treatment plan, which may include both traditional
and alternative therapies.
